Usually,
a gallon of flat paint color covers 400 square feet and with C2 Paint’s
high quality, a finished wall is usually only 1-2 coats away from
gorgeous, making it an excellent value. Unlike less expensive brands,
which may require up to 5 or more coats until opacity, C2 Paint
commonly undersells the amount of paint needed because of the
impressive finish after few coats requires less paint (and less
muscle!)
To measure square footage, measure the perimeter of room walls
by adding up their widths and the multiply it with the height of walls
from floor to ceiling. Subtract the area of open areas from it such as
doors, windowsand archways to known the wall area that needs to be
painted. Some paint types and colors may need more than one coat so
take the number of coats you need to cover the walls into account too.

To
assure you receive the absolute best coverage possible, C2 Paint
sometimes recommends a primer before use of the Interior Paints. Please
check with your local C2 Paint Specialist before purchasing paint on
whether or not your project and colors specified require a primer.

Start with the following tools:
- Drop cloth or old bed sheets
- Brushes, 4" brush for wall surfaces, 2-21/2" for cutting in
- Sandpaper for smoothing
- Roller and tray
- Extension handle for the roller
- Masking tape
- Ladder
- Rags for clean-up
- Putty knife and spackle

In
May 2004, C2 Paint unveiled ACS, a totally new way to achieve rich,
bold color while answering the deep tone color problems of poor
coverage and unpredictable color results. With this simple system, one
coat of custom tinted primer and two topcoats results in total coverage
and a perfect color match.
